VIT University began its functioning in 1984 as a Deemed University. It is situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. VIT University is not affiliated with any institute but is stated as Deemed University. Provides various UG, PG and PhD programs that include individual specialization choices. The courses offer degrees in science, Commerce, Arts and Humanities, and other Technological courses. The admissions in VITUofhappensdepending on the University entrance exam. Some of the other competitive exams by the University are GATE and MAT/ CAT/ TANCET, etc., for the available programs in this University.
The admission process at VITU will happen from March to June of every year. As per the latest news, the application submission date for VITU admissions was extended to the given date of the current year for new entries.
