SRM University Admission process
The SRM University course admission is offered for both undergraduate and graduate programs. To apply for a degree program in SRM University, candidates must have passed the qualifying exam and be required to clear the SRMJEEE. . The applicants can fill in the application form online and offline.

SRM University Hostel facility
The SRM University, formerly SRM Institute of Science and Technology, has several student hostel facilities. The facilities offered are designed to suit students of all budgets. The University provides hostels for both boys and girls. The hostels have clean, comfortable rooms, Water, electricity, internet access, reading rooms, a gym, a sports facility, a mess, and a cafeteria with quality and hygienic food. The rooms are provided on a sharing basis, i.e., they have a/c and non- a/c rooms. Even the fee structure ranges based on the room type. SRM University hostel fees are INR 29.5 K to 1.54 L per year.

SRM University is Deemed University came into existence in 1985. NAAC accredits the university with grades ‘A’ and UGC recognized. - SRM University application fee will have to be paid separately, which is not included in the course fee structure. Applicants applying through online mode application fee will be INR 1100, and for those applying through offline mode, it will be INR 1160.

SRM University Scholarships
SRM University Scholarships are awarded to students based on both merit and need. The names of the scholarships are given below:
- Merit Scholarship: 50 per cent fee waiver for students with CBSE or State Board exams over 95 per cent.
- Founder’s Scholarship: Complete fee waiver to top state, tuition, SRMEEE & AIEEE rankers, JEE, sportsmen and hostels & mess, socio-economic disdained on books, plus a stipend of INR 1000 per month.
- Merit-cum-means Scholarship: Students who are economically challenged on their qualifying test results are provided with a 25 per cent to 100 per cent tuition fee waiver.
- Scholarships for special merits: Some students with outstanding literary debate skills, fine arts, and others are given scholarships with tuition fees waivered up to 100%.
SRM University Hostel Fee
There are separate hostels for men and women on the campus, with all the facilities required for research and leisure. With furniture and study tables, the rooms are neatly spaced. Hostels have modern kitchens serving vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and are well fitted. SRM University fee of hostel ranges from INR 29.05k – 1.54 lakh. Depending on AC/Non AC rooms, with or without washrooms, and based on six sharing or eight sharing rooms, each candidate’s fee differs. There are seven blocks allocated for female students with a capacity ranging from 250 to 700 in each block. The total size of the Women’s Hostel is 4000 or so. For men of skill ranging from 200 to 1000 students in each block, there are 14 blocks allocated. The total hostel room for men is around 7500.

About SRMJEE
The university conducts the SRMJEE exam to shortlist students for admission to the engineering programs. In addition, candidates must take the SRM Entrance Exam if they wish to pursue B. SRM University MBBS Admission
For aspiring medicos, the university has simplified the admission norms. Candidates must pass their HSC/ Pre-University exams with 50% marks in PCMB from a recognized board. Moreover, the SRM University admission eligibility for MBBS will align completely with the NEET UG counseling procedure.
